When to visit Armenia?
Armenia follows the rhythm of its seasons, marked by a fairly sharp continental climate. From mid-May to late June, the Aragats plateaus and the shores of Lake Sevan are carpeted with wildflowers: this is undoubtedly the finest period for hiking. July and August remain pleasant at altitude, but Yerevan can exceed 35°C. September and October offer stunning light on the monasteries of Tatev or Noravank, with grape harvests in the Areni valleys. Winter, harsher, appeals to those who love the snow-covered landscapes of Dilijan and Tsaghkadzor ski resort. In short, when to travel to Armenia depends mainly on what you're looking for: hiking, culture, wine or solitude.
